To Kill a Mockingbird

Introduction

The book To Kill A Mockingbird has been banned in many places, and many people defend the book by saying it "explains how unequal the African American and Caucasians treated each other during the Jim Crow Era". several others disagree with those statements, finding the book as nothing but a "filthy, trashy sex novel"; remarked by New Yorker reverend Carl Hadley. Throughout the process of researching censorships and bans, many opinions about To Kill A Mockingbird received recognition. meanwhile, the facts my group and I gathered from different sources, gave us a variety of thoughts on whether it deserves to be banned, or if it should have a chance to be read by any American just as any other book does.
